In response to @25kV ‘s point earlier, here are the countries to which SNCF can fully sell you tickets from 22 May
Monaco - 1 station, SNCF serves it
Luxembourg - SNCF can sell tickets to Bettembourg and once you’re in Luxembourg public transport is free

TL;DR according to SNCF, should be available in fall 2024, along with an improved system sometime in 2025.
It's infuriating but hardly surprising. I might give Trainline a go next time I plan a non standard (for me) train trip, SNCF (Connect) is getting on my nerves.
